![yesterday, hubster and I went to ikea.. you know.. willy wonka’s chocolate factory but for “new homers.” we picked out our bed and got our new comforter (which btw is sooo amazing that I had the hardest time trying to get out of bed this morning). we also got a bunch of small things like wine glass, cups, ironing board, tools, and my favorite, the stepping stool! you see in our kitchen, for some reason all the cabinets are eeextra high. I seriously can’t reach them. It makes me feel like a kid again where you have to climb onto the counter to reach the cabinet with cereal. maybe it’s a sign that I don’t belong there haha. so anywho.. we got this stool so that I could reach everything and i’m ao excited about it! I put it together aaaaalll by myself! granted it took me awhile, it was all me :] i want to paint it so it looks cool! haha okay enough about my stepping stool.. we have to go back today and actually purchase the bed, get the entertainment system, and the drawer we wanted. oh oh! I get excited over things like a new bed, Christmas decor, being married, wine, and dinner dates… but I wouldn’t have it any other way :]
so before Chris came home I had to run a bunch of errands. he called me in the morning and told me that he probably wouldn’t be back until 4. I was relieved because this meant I had time to do whatever I needed to before he came and still be ready for him when he got home with a lit birthday cake waiting for him. I asked him to make sure to call me before he got home, more like begged haha. as I parked my car and got the stuff in the back, I see Chris running to me from inside the apartment. I was so disappointed because that meant he saw my cupcake cake :( I was so bummed he ruined my surprise by surprising me but I was relieved he was home anyway. we bought COD2, Left for Dead 2, a new xbox controller, and a case for my DSi. left for dead 2 is hella fun but I’m still sucky haha. I love zombies. for dinner, we ended up going to this reeeeaally good place called the lei lounge! I hella felt like the hills real quick though. the atmosphere was so cute and the food.. uh hello! sooo bomb! we had tempura sweet potato fries with caramel dipping sauce, a Kobe beef Philly cheese steak, and chicken pad Thai. ahhh.. it was amazing! we were both super stuffed and had to bring leftovers home. my favorite was the tempura sweet potato friiiies! now we are at home being mr and mrs awesome. I love this :] and tomorrow.. we’re Oxnard bound! yaaay! I had a good ass day.. cause my babyboy’s hooome!!
